How do you ensure you/your employees demonstrate your company's core values?

Every day, we work as a unified team to run fast and beat our best. At our core, we believe technology can connect companies and communities and we truly stand by our Core Values:

  • Collaboration - We believe that we work best together. By fostering empathy, sharing skills and ideas, we are able to grow our business exponentially.
  • Integrity - Humanity is women in our collective interactions. With open and honest communication, we trust in each other because we know we do what we say we will.
  • Optimism - Our collective mindset is that technology can connect businesses, individuals and communities. We have the tools to deliver for our customers and we believe that our work will shape the future of business.
  • Accountability - We hold ourselves and our work to the highest standard. Understanding that we are all human, when mistakes happen, we own them. We work together as a team to do the right thing at all times.
  • Courage - As an organization, we strive to beat our best work to continue to foster innovation and change the way businesses make decisions. Our open communication among team members drives this capability.

We are a residnet- based company so our core values are centered around care, comfort and security for our seniors

In the dealership world, coworkers are part of your family. We work long and odd hours to make sure our customers feel very well taken care of. We have a rule and that is to follow the Disney land procedure when it comes to our customers. we never point out directions to any department- we walk them there. they are offered drinks and snacks and much more while they are in our dealership.

In most of our meetings, our team recites our dealership’s mission statement as a reminder of who we are and what we are about. We have quotes from our original owner’s letter to customers in place in different areas throughout our stores, discussing our dedication to the customer, and providing transparency in an industry often muddied by lies. These serve as a reminder to our employees and a set of expectations for our customers. We measure customer satisfaction for experiences with our employees. Those who are at the top of our company are recognized and rewarded during quarterly reviews and at year end meetings in front of the rest of their team/the entire company. It is part of our culture from the day you start, and reinforced when necessary.

At Honda of Bellingham we believe in giving back to our community. We always try to do business with local vendors and support local charities. We believe in treating employees and our customers like family. We foster an environment of inclusion so that everyone feels welcome. We all work hard to make sure our company is environmentally responsible as well. We’re always looking for new ways to be greener.

Consistent messaging and constant encouraging has been central to our company. Our values are simple and our messaging is strong and easy to get behind. It just takes us remind everyone the WHY!

I haven’t heard of some of these core values before! It is refreshing to see some creative and inventive beliefs. :star_struck:

We are a resident-first company, and all about serving others and putting others first! On the corporate level, we embody this as well.

We believe in creating better living for better lives. Our core values are simply Integrity, Mutual respect, Passion, Transparency, and lastly but certainly not the least of importance… TRUST.
I do my best to show my coworkers and residents alike that when choosing to live or work with us you have formed a relationship that is founded in those values.

I work at two dealerships under the same name. Between both businesses we like to do it the Chick-Fil-a way, we say we are the Chick-fil-a of the dealership world. Our customers are our top priority and we do what we can to make sure they have the best service possible!

Accountability is such an important factor in today complex situation. As well as developing and following protocol that will benefit the employee environment to promote in preventing errors.

We build our onboarding training around our Core Values and highlight team members throughout the year when they demonstrate one or more of these values. Our HR team does a great job incorporating our values into our weekly company calls also.
